Usher: How does that signal the end of APC? Are you watching proceedings at all? He was elected unopposed because lawan dropped off maybe by Buhari's intervention.
Keu4Success: Never mind hypocrites! They thought Saraki could just have won just like that without intervention of Mr president. Didn't the hypocrites read that Mr president held a meeting with all APC Senators-elect before the proceedings? I watched the whole proceedings on AIT and saw how Saraki emerged as the new Senate President. The proceeding on who becomes the Deputy Senate president is ongoing right now.
I want to believe that there was a consensus by which Saraki was agreed to become Senate President while Femi Gbajabiamila would become the Speaker, House of Reps. If that was the eleventh-hour arrangement, it is not only good but also the best for Nigeria. I have always said it is good to disagree to later agree. I congratulate Senator Saraki and I urge him to remain loyal to his party and its leadership.
Both Saraki and Lawan are in the same family. All doomsayers have been put to shame. APC house is still intact. Thd house will never collapse as doomsayers expect. Congratulations Nigerians!
