Dear Author, every one is entitled to his opinion and I appreciate you for that. Whilst I will not criticize you for your article, I will share my personal experience. I was diagnosed with an ear infection called Pseudomonomas aureginosa in 2002. It was a crazy experience. I had too options viz:

1. Be placed on powerful antibiotics for ever or (2) Go for an operation. Both options were scary.
I stuck to the first one believing God for a miracle. The bacteria infection becomes aggravated each time I take cold water.

Both ears would start itching for days leading to a painful sore throat. The climax would be a greenish pungent and sticky ear discharge each time I clear both ears with a sterile ear swab.

I would rush for the prescribed antibiotics and after three days the symptoms would disappear.
I dreaded the cold weather and stayed off cold drinks and water. This was my plight for 11 months or so.

Pastor Adeboye came to my church- The Fountain of Life Church for a ministration.
This was around February,2003. Expectedly, every church seat was filled 1 hour before the preaching started.

I was seated in the overflow watching from the big screen with my ear infection. For those who listen to Pastor Adeboye frequently, Papa would preach from a bible passage and cite many examples of how God used him and his ministry to perform miraculous wonders.

His passage that day was from the story of the blind man whilst the topic of the preaching was Chief Emmanuel-a name God told him to tell a very wealthy man he met on board a flight to one of his overseas ministrations.

In the midst of the preaching, Pastor Adeboye recalled how God miraculously "cleaned " the cancer cells in his right ear within seven days.

He had earlier complained to one his doctor daughters of a heavy feeling in the right ear. Cancerous cells were found growing in his ear.

According to Pastor Adeboye he just prayed a simple prayer "God, give me a new pair of ears".
Instantly, I stood up from my seat and used Daddy G.O testimony as a reference point to my condition.

I prayed that simple prayer immediately and believed God. By the Wednesday of that same week, my ear dried up. No more antibiotics, no surgery, no itching of the ear,no sore throat. I drink cold drinks without fear of a relapse. It's been more than 10 years now.

I don't need a prophet to drum to my ears that Daddy G.O is a man of God. He didn't have to lay his hands on me, he just said a little prayer and I did same to get my miracle. Just as your right of self expression is sacrosanct so also Daddy G.O is. To publicly condemn his prophecies is totally uncalled for. You have the right to either believe or jettison it. That's my humble opinion.
